Exhibit in an Airstream trailer by artist Kenny Sharf at the Wynwood Walls courtyard.

So its that time of the year…. and its not Christmas yet. 

Art Basel is in town where contemporary art meet the uber hip (and artsy) Miami scene. For my first day of Basel I went to the Wynwood Walls. 

Lets see what tonight also brings.

Laberynth by Vivi Astro at The Wynwood Walls

These figurines are from plastic artist Marcelo Wong and they are called Gordos, which is his trademark.

I fell in love with them because of their wobbly shape and also they are sitting on designer chairs (which I collect in mini versions). From left is the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona chair, the red one is the Heart Cone chair by Verner Panton and the other one is sitting on a Eero Aarnio inspired chair its a cross between the Pastil and the Bubble.

Also anything that is less than an inch that has little people that come in packs.
